It was very impressive to watch fifteen young child artists, trained students of Shree Yuwa Pratibha Bidhya Mandir Secondary School, Khokana, performing the street drama at bus park of Bungamati. “I found it very effective means to communicate the message and convenience the people in the villages for the behavioural change,” said Niraj Lama, a member of the drama team.

The community people were increasingly interested to involve in these types of the trainings. They were enthusiast to learn about the good sanitation practices, understand the personal health and hygiene and apply it. The villagers like the way the artists pulls the audience till the end of the show and questions them about the message conveyed by the street drama. They feel that the street drama was more effective in raising the community awareness, hence, demanded to have more number of shows along with the trainings in the neighbouring villages to spread the WASH messages.
