Inauguration of Patan Sundhara stone spout, Nugah Hiti
Sundhara, the golden spout at Nugah Tole Patan got a face lift after the renovation of the spout with the overwhelmed participation of local people. Prabhat Pariwar, the local CBO to the initiative. The function organized to inaugurate the golden spout also observed a signing ceremony to establish water distribution system of Sundhara. A MoU was signed between CIUD and Prabhat Pariwar on Oct 4th 2008 for the joint effort to install the water distribution system. UN-Habitat and Lalitpur Sub Metropolitan City is supporting this project. On the behalf of CIUD Mr. Padma Sunder Joshi, Executive Director and Mr. Manoj Chipalu, on the behalf of Prabhat Pariwar signed the MoU. Inaugurated by Mr. Satya Mohan Joshi, respected culture expert the programme was addressed by UN-Habitat Chief Technical Advisor Dr. Roshan Raj Shrestha and Lalitpur Sub-Metropolitan City CEO Mr. K.P Devkota among others. |

Dental Health Camp in Nala,Kavre
Centre for Integrated Urban Development, Nepal Redcross Society,Nala Sub- Branch and Pragatishil Yuva Krishak Samuha, Nala organized free Dental Health in asociation with Dr. KAti Grof from Dental Volunteers on 10th Septemper 2008 at Nala, Kavre. The camp was mostly focussed on children and some emergency cases of elders. Altogether 30 patients received the dental health service. The community people expected this type of camp in near future |

Children Health Camp
Children Learning Centre under Centre for Integrated Urban Development organized Children Health Camp on 27th July 2008 in the premises of the organization. Altogether 54 children of the Gusingal, Lalitpur from the rental poor community get benefited from the camp. Dr. Jasmine Bajracharya and Dr. Susan Karki from Kanti Hospital voluntarily participated in the Health Camp as well as Micro Lab Limited and Beximco Pharmaceuticals Ltd. provided some medicine for the Health Camp. |
